Remembering Prof. Fung-Ching Cheng 鄭方靖 老師

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Prof. CHENG Fung-Ching 鄭方靖 教授

SCS was the local partner for the 4th Asia Kodály Symposium, where Prof. Cheng was invited as a guest speaker. Prof Cheng visited Singapore and sat in for one of our rehearsals back in 2019, where she provided native speaker insights into Taiwanese Hokkien for one of the pieces we were working on.

We are eternally grateful that Prof. Cheng agreed to be one of our international advisors for the SCS choral education programmes.

An effervescent and gentle teacher, Prof. Cheng will be sorely missed.
